Illinois Christmas

We celebrated Christmas with my family on Monday, December 20th. We typically would have opened presents on Saturday while we were out there, but Santa was not available to make his annual appearance until Monday, so we had to stay another day.

The Ben and Brevon were very excited to sit on Santa's lap. Ben asked for the same thing that he asked the school's Santa for on Thursday - socks with green words on them (Hanes size boy's medium). Even though Kyle had no problems sitting on Santa's lap while at Ben's program, he wasn't too interested at Grammy and Papa's house.

All the kids pitched right in when it came time to see what Santa had in his sack for everyone . Even Kyle willing went over at that point.

The kids also had fun bringing the presents to Santa to read the names and then they could deliver them to the appropriate person. Kyle didn't waste any time trying to open gifts though.

Mom & Dad opening their card that had the picture of the lawn swing that had been delivered to their house the previous Wednesday that they had instructions NOT to open prior to Christmas.

Kyle's new CHUCK trucks race track which he has a blast with.
