Fun at the Fair

The boys and I went to the Berrien County Youth Fair and had blast tonight. We walked through almost all the animal barns with my cousin Kate and her four kids. We got to hear Kyle make all the different animal sounds for the first time. Ben fell and scraped up both knees when he was running to the next barn with his cousin Drew. Later we were getting our drinks out of the drink cooler and a lady closed the cooler on Ben's hand. Pretty emotional night for Ben. The lady felt bad and bought him a brownie and then Papa Earl took him on the rides.
This little girl hopped in the car with Ben and put her arm around him during the ride. It was really quite precious.

Papa tried to take Kyle on a ride, but he screamed the whole time. It started raining, so we ended up going to watch the goat show for awhile until Kyle decided he was too tired to cooperate. We decided to head home just as the fair officials announced that they were evacuating the fair grounds because of a tornado watch. Ben fell asleep almost instantly on the ride home, but Kyle was still awake when we pulled in the drive.
